Artist Biography

Priyatarisini Rathia@Sin! is a full time artist born in Malacca.
Her artistic journey began during her teenage years when she was trained by a local artist. After a hiatus of 20 years, she resumed her artistic pursuits and completed her diploma in Fine Arts at MIA, KL, where she currently resides. 

Priyatarisini draws inspiration from folktales, myths, and dark history, which is evident in her captivating artworks. She predominantly uses acrylics, oil, and charcoal to create her pieces. Alongside her artistic practice, she is passionate about teaching art and conducts classes for children, drawing inspiration from her own ideas. 

Her works have been showcased in various exhibitions, including ‘Black and White’ at MIA Gallery, ‘Green Horn’ at Artvoice Gallery, and ‘Just Us’ at LostGen Gallery. Her unique artistic style and thematic focus have garnered attention and appreciation from art enthusiasts and critics alike.
